Itinerary Details

Day 1: Arrival Kathmandu (1300 m/ 4264 ft)
Upon your arrival in Kathmandu, Great Nepal representative will arrange to pick up you from the airport. You will then be transferred to hotel. After welcome drinks, you will be introduced with your guides and trip planner to discuss about the program as per the itinerary. Depending on the time of your arrival, you can visit Kathmandu Durbar Square with your appointed guide or stroll around Thamel or just take rest at the hotel to overcome fatigue from flight.
Day 2: Kathmandu Valley Tours( Whole day sightseeing)
Today you will be doing a valley sightseeing tour. After breakfast drive towards Pashupatinath, located approximately 5 km east of Kathmandu and reach there by 30 minutes drive.  Famous Hindu Temple where thousands of devotees and Saddhus perform rituals daily. You can see the cremating body most of the times in the riverbank of Bagmati according to Hindu customs. After completing the sightseeing of Pashupatinath area, 15 minutes drive to reach Bouddhanath (the largest pagoda style sputa, height of 36 meters, a diameter of 120 meters). Strolling around the base, you can hear the chanting of monks and creaking of prayer wheels. After spending memorable moments in Boudhanath, move to  Swyombhunath (monkey temple). It is situated at the height point from where you can observe Kathmandu valley around. You can enjoy with thousands of monkeys around the temple along with the various forms and images of Lord Gautam Buddha, who is also known as the light of Asia. Late evening, we can also visit some highlights of Kathmandu. These three places are listed under World Heritage sites by UNESCO.
Day 3: Kathmandu to Bandipur(160km/4hrs)
After breakfast, drive towards Bandipur, approximately 160 km from Kathmandu. On the way to Bandipur, you can do adventures rafting for around 3-4 hours in Trisuli River. From Trishuli, a 50 km drive will take you to Bandipur, a village with Newar community. With its glorious 18th-century architecture, absence of motorized vehicles and restaurant tables set out on the bazaar, it has a distinct European feel . Bandipur is elevated to the height of 1005 meters and a pleasant and a calm atmosphere with maximum elevation of 1030m, 700m above Marsyangdi river valley. It includes the spectacular peaks of Dhaulagiri, Machhapuchhre, Langtang, Manaslu and Ganesh Himal, among others. You can see different kinds of flora and fauna, including langurs, orchid, butterflies etc. The Legendary Gorkha Palace and the famous Manakamana Peak are clearly visible from here.
Day 4: Bandipur- Ramkot- Bandipur
Early in the morning after breakfast, you head towards Ramkot, reach there by 3 hours drive or optionally you can hike with a packed lunchbox. Ramkot is a Magar village. On your way, you pass through Nuchung village, a typical Gurung village only with few houses around the jungle. It would rather be jungle walk. Visiting there explore you the rural lifestyle of Nepal. From this place you can view the panaromic scene of mount Annapurna. Late evening you get back to Bandipur and overnight
(Additional: Ghatu naach performed within the community of Gurung & Magar locality can be enjoyed in prior request).
Day 5: Bandipur- Pokhara
After breakfast, drive for Pokhara today with a distance of  75 KM/ 3hrs. You can explore the Annapurna range, Fewa Lake etc. Upon your arrival in Pokhara, you will immediately be transferred to the hotel. After short rest you will be taken for sightseeing within Devi’s Fall, Gupteshwor Mahadev  or you can explore Pokhara individually visiting many shops and resturants. Then you get back to the hotel late evening and overnight at hotel in Pokhara.
Day 6: Pokhara
Today early in the morning, you drive towards Sarangkot for enjoying the stunning view of Sarangkot 1592m above sea level to enjoy the stunning view of sunrise with the panoramic view of Fishtail Mountain. Get back to hotel for breakfast, proceed for boating in Fewa Lake for an hour, visit Barahi temple, observe some ritual puja. (It is located in the Central part of Phewa Lake) ,view the Peace Stupa , mountain museum, Mahendra Cave, Bat’s cave. During afternoon, head towards Begnas Lake for boating, the largest lake for an hour. In the evening, we will conduct a cultural and refreshment program.
(If interested you can perform adventure sports like paragliding & Zip Flying from Sarangkot but it may require one more day to stay at Pokhara.)
Day 7: Pokhara-Chitwan( Sauraha) (134 km/)
After breakfast  you drive to Chitwan. It is 134 km away from Pokhara and the maximum height is 827 m above sea level, located in the lowlands of Southern Central Nepal. This particular place take you to the tropical forest, grassland and river landscape with a vast wildlife.  As soon as you reach Chitwan, you check into the hotel, have lunch and not wasting much of our time you will begin few Chitwan activities like elephant safari, jungle walk, canoe trip and possibly visit the elephant breeding center . Enjoy Tharu cultural programme in the evening.
Day 8: Chitwan National Park ( Whole day jungle activities)
Wake up early in the morning for continueing your jungle activities at Chitwan. Like canoeing, crocodile conservation project tour, wildlife museum visit, local sightseeing with various ethnic groups’ community, nature walk around the bank of Rapti River, bird watching etc. You can see the one- Horned Rhino, deer and birds. If you are really lucky, you can see the Bengal Tiger too. After completion of these activities, you get back to hotel and overnight at hotel/resort.
Day 9: Chitwan National Park-Bhaktapur (169Km/5 hrs)
Today before breakfast you can perform remaining jungle activity (if any). After breakfast, you check out from hotel and drive back to Bhaktapur. Bhaktapur is an ancient city, also known as “City of culture”, “Living heritage” and “Nepal’s Cultural Capital”, located about 13 km east of Kathmandu and 5.5 km east from Tribhuvan International Airport.  A visit to Bhaktapur is a cultural sightseeing where you can also enjoy seeing the traditional people and their lifestyle. You can visit Bhaktapur Durbar Square, Nyatapola Temple, 55 window palaces, Siddha Pokhari, DattatreyaTtemple, Pottery Square, Taleju Temple etc. Overnight at hotel.
Additional: On your way lies a holy Hindu temple, Manakamana, you can use cable car to go there as the temple is located up hills.
Day 10: Bhaktapur – Nagarkot
After breakfast, you drive towards Nagarkot through Changunarayan Temple (15 km east / 45 minutes) from Bhaktapur. Nagarkot is elevated at 2195m/7200ft. It is very famous for best sunrise and sunset view. This day is possible for you to view sunset. Nagarkot commands one of the best views of the snow capped Himalayas in the Kathmandu valley (8 Himalayan ranges of Nepal out of 13 from here). The ranges include Annapurna range, Manaslu range, Ganesh himal range, Lang tang range, Jugal range, Rolwaling range, Mahalangur range, Everest range and many other ranges with splendid views of the Kathmandu valley and Shivapuri National Park. Overnight rest at hotel.
We can reach Nagarkot from Bhaktapur by two options. One way is through private vehicle drive and the other option is through hiking 4 hours. The trial climbs up through farming lands, terraced fields and local villages.
Day 11: Nagarkot-Dhulikhel (23 Km/1 hr.driving)
Early morning you will be viewing the stunning sunrise view around the Himalayas from Nagarkot. After breakfast you will be heading towards Dhulikhel. Dhulikhel is exposed to the maximum altitude of 1600 meter above sea level and 32km Southeast of Kathmandu. It is an ancient Newar town. You will be guided for the sightseeing of the major attractions places like Namo Buddha Stupa, Devi Temple, and Statue of Goddess Durga, Chandeswori Temple etc whole day. Overnight hotel in Dhulikhel.
Option: You can reach Dhulikhel from Nagarkot through 5-6 hours Jungle hike enjoying the chirping of birds and viewing the natural scenery.
Day 12: Dhulikhel to The last Resort
After breakfast proceed towards The Last Resort viewing the sightseeing of Palanchowak Bhagawati Temple. Overnight at the Last Resort.
Day 13: The last Resort (Whole day)
Today you will have a full day time to entertain at The Last Resort. It is located at the top of the river George of Bhote Koshi, close to the Tibetian border. It offers you amazing adventures like white water river rafting. Bungee jump, swing, hiking, cannoning etc. You can choose the adventure of in choice or you can also relax at the luxury offered by the resort.
Day 14: The last Resort to Kathmandu
After breakfast, you will be driven back to Kathmandu. After reaching Kathmandu (3 Hrs. drives) you can rest and relax throughout the day at hotel. If you get interested to take some gifts home from Nepal for friends and relatives, you can visit to some nearby shops or venture out in Thamel for typical Nepalese goods. This short excursion either can be assisted by Great Nepal’s guides or you can do it yourself too. If you want to explore any other areas in Kathmandu, you have to manage time for this today as well. In the evening, we will be at a fantastic celebration fare well dinner together for successfully completing trip organized by Great Nepal. Overnight at Kathmandu.
Day15: Farewell Friend

You journey in Nepal comes to an end today. Great Nepal representative will escort you to the airport
approximately 3 hours before your scheduled flight. On your way to home, we have plenty of time to plan
your next adventure in the wonderful country Nepal.
