This is one of the shortest, yet most classic treks in Nepal. It passes through country inhabited by a wide diversity of people. It offers spectacular mountain scenery and takes you north of Annapurna & Mt. Machhapuchare (Fishtail) ranges. Dhampus is not only a mountain view point but also a small, ethnic Gurung village. A hike to Dhampus will give an opportunity to watch the daily lives of these villagers from milching the buffaloes to their daily works on the farms.

Itinerary

Day 01: Drive Pokhara (1350 m) to trek start point trek to Dhampus for 3 hours. Relax and enjoy the scenerary, walk around the village. O/N Lodge.
Day 02: Early morning watching sunrise on the Himalayas. Trek to Phedi and drive back to Pokhara around mid day.
