A walk in a pitched road is one thing but waking in a trek is full of challenges and adventures. Choose your trekking trail with well preparations because you never know the adventure can go dangerous.
The Langtang Circuit Trek is a wonderful opportunity to explore the Langtang region situated in the Rasuwa district of central Nepal. Langtang Circuit Trek is considered as the third popular trekking routes in Nepal as it provides a wonderful chance for the domestic tourists and trekkers to visit the holy Gosaikunda Lake which falls on the way of the trek. Langtang Circuit is also equally popular among the foreign trekkers and tourists as the Gosaikunda Lake is not just popular for being a major pilgrimage destination for the Hindus but also for the natural beauty it commands. Langtang Circuit Trek also provides a chance to behold the great natural beauty of the Langtang region along with the great Himalayas to the North including the Langtang mountain peak. Also the rich Rhododendron and bamboo forests along with the peculiar flora and fauna add to the glory of the Langtang Circuit Trek. This village is less trodden and natural. Though it lies just near the capital city, the waves of pollution, modernization and urbanization has not yet touched the environment.
The Langtang Circuit Trek begins from the ancient city of Kathmandu, the capital city of Nepal. Syabru Besi is the starting point of the Langtang Circuit Trek. Few hours of drive from Kathmandu is enough to take you until Syabru Besi, a wonderful little village located on the banks of Bhote Koshi River. From Syabru Besi, the trail attains gradual elevation as you cross several rivers, forests, Sherpa villages and finally to the protected region of Langtang National Park. The holy lake of Gosaikunda falls under the premises of Langtang National Park. Kyanjin Gompa with the altitude, which falls midway between the trail, is also one of the attractions of the trek for the presence of a popular Buddhist monastery. It also provides the opportunity to explore the village of Melamchi, situated quite near from Kathmandu, during the return journey.
