Langtang Valley Trek is a 11-day trip which begins from Kathmandu, the capital city. After 6-7 hours of drive the next day, you reach Syabru Besi, a small traditional village lying on the bank of Bhote Kosi River. It is the starting point of the trek. The trail then slowly attains elevation as you make your way through Rhododendron, bamboo and oak forests along the way. Upon reaching the Langtang valley, you then get a chance to explore the Sherpa villages and the visit  of  Kyanjin Gompa(3,798m) provides you a chance to peek at the lifestyle of spiritual Buddhist monks. If the weather is clean and not cloudy, you will be also greeted by several majestic mountains that form the famous Langtang Mountain Range. Ganesh Himal (7110 m) and Langtang -II (7,230 m) peaks are one of the major attractions of this trek.
