Nepal is no doubt one of the best places in the world for white water rafting. Nepal has many diversified rivers to explore for rafting purpose. The best time for rafting is from October through mid-December and March through early May. During winter various hinderances may occer whereas during monsoon months June through September, the white water rafting can turn dangerous, but rafting is possible in gentle stretches.. The Government of Nepal has opened sections of 10 rivers for commercial rafting.
