Pokhalde Peak Climbing

Pokhalde Peak Climbing

Sometimes referred to as the Dolma Ri, Pokhalde Peak has a height of 5806m and is located 12km southwest of Mount Everest. The peak offers a view of Mt. Everest as exquisite and lofty as no other location in Nepal can provide. Not only this, but Pokhalde Peak also offers beautiful views of mountains like Makalu, Ama Dablam and Pumori.
Pokhalde is quite a famous peak for climbing and it is also considered a commercial ‘trekking peak’ simply because it does not demand experience. If this is your very first time climbing a peak then you can still summit Pokhalde. However, proper acclimatization is mandatory for successfully making it to the summit. Keeping this very thing in mind, we have prepared the itinerary in such a manner that your body will get used to the new environment it has just entered.
