Religious shrine of Muktinath is elevated 90m above Ranipauwa. We find no hotels around and camping is forbidden by the Temple committee. Muktinath is a religious place for both Hindu & Buddhist. The holy shrine at Muktinath is in a grove of trees and includes a Buddhist Gompa and the pagoda style temple of Vishnu, Containing an Image of Vishnu. Temple is surrounded by walls all around from which 108 waterspout casted in the shape of cows heads, pour holy water. Moreover, it is believed sacred water that is issued from rock inside the ancient Tibetan style Jwala(flame) Mai Temple is more holistic. Holy flame alongside a spring that is the source of the religious importance of Muktinath
Itinerary
Day 01:Kathmandu to Pokhara
Early morning we take a tourist bus to Pokhara (200 KM/ 5-6 Hours). After arriving in Pokhara Tourist Bus park, Our representative will receive you and transfer to the respective hotel by private vehicle. Check in to Hotel and refresh. Enjoy boating in Fewa Lake on your own in the evening, return to the hotel or you can have a leisure walk around Lake side. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 02: Pokhara to Jomsom (flight), visit Muktinath
Early morning after breakfast you will be transferred by private car to airport for your flight to Jomsom. The flight duration is short i.e. only of 18-20mins but you can enjoy the greenery from airplane and see magnificent Kaligandagi Gorge. At the same time you can enjoy the stunning Himalayan ranges like, Machhapuchre, Annapurna and Dhaulagiri. Upon your arrival our representative will receive you at the airport and transfer to hotel. Rest few minutes, then take 2 hrs drives towards Muktinath, reaching at Ranipauwa village by jeep you will take uphill walk for 25 minutes to reach Muktinath Temple. After Performing Puja return back to Jomsom by jeep and overnight at the Hotel.
Day 03: Jomsom to Pokhara (flight) to Kathmandu
Today we take our flight back to Pokhara, upon arrival at pokhara airport you will fly to Kathmandu 2/3 hour later or can use land transport. We believe you will enjoy this short religious tour.
