Nepal (officially the Federal Democratic Republic of Nepal) is a landlocked country located in South Asia and is the 41st most populous country. It is located in the beauty of The Himalyas & is bordered at the north by the People's Republic of China and by India to the east, west & south. The  world's ten tallest mountains, including the highest point on Earth; Mount Everest, called Sagarmatha in Nepali & Chomolungma in Tibetan & Sherpa languge, happen to fall in Nepal.We have more than 240 peaks which are over 20,000 ft (6,096m) above sea level. The southern region 'Terai' is peculiar for its fertility and humidity. Lumbini, the birthplace of Lord Gautam Buddha, is also located in this region. It is one of the places most sought after when it comes to the world's great religion'Buddhism'. Nepal contains important evidence about the nature of Buddhist pilgrimage centers from as early as the 3rd century BC.
