Mera Peak is situated in the Sagarmatha Region, Mahalangur Range, with its altitude rising until 6,476 meters, (21,247ft). Mera Peak is one of the highest trekking peaks in Nepal. It contains three main summits: Meera North (6,476 metres), Mera Central (6,461 metres) and Mera South (6,065 metres) as well as a smaller "trekking summit", visible as a distinct summit. It is a good mountain for trekkers who would like a straight forward introduction to mountaineering.
Mera Peak climbing is followed by a short and exciting flight to the mountain airstrip of Lukla and after continuous trek for days through the high and lovely valleys, you will get to the area of Mera.
