Photography & Filming Tour in Nepal

Day 01: Arrival at Kathmandu:
Your arrival will warmly be welcomed by the Great Nepal representative waiting for you at the airport. You will then be escorted to the hotel. The rest of the day, feel free to venture onto whatever you wish. O/N at Kathmandu
Day 02: Photography tour to various Palaces in and around Kathmandu:
This will be a daylong tour into the life’s of the Royal family of Nepal. We will take you through the various palaces build by the kings of Nepal, which now is ranked under the UNESCO World Heritage Sites. After a long day we will head back to the hotels, preparing ourselves for the next coming adventures.
Day 03: Pashupatinath, Boudhanath, Swayambhunath:
Today we take our journey to a more religious front with an early morning visit to the temples of monkey (Swayambhunath) where you can see the entire Kathmandu valley and is amongst the best places to create picture perfect memories. As the day ends we also visit Boudhanath and Pashupatinath for some diverse cultural experience.
Day 04: Pharping:
Today we visit to the place which is believed to be there even before the Kathmandu valley came into existence. This now is home to more than 40000 people from different demography. And with a farewell dinner our tour ends for now.
Day 5: Departure
Sadly your most memorable journey ends today. A Great Nepal representative will escort you to the airport 3 hours before your scheduled flight. On your way home you have plenty of time to think about your recent adventure and to plan your next wonderful adventure in Nepal.
A Photography tour in Kathmandu
Kathmandu Durbar Square:
Kathmandu Dubar Square is ranked amongst the World Heritage Sites by UNESCO. It is the home to Living Goddess, Kumari and palace to the kings of Nepal, which also hold various relics associated with the royal family and is today a popular site to admire the culture and architectural history of Nepal. Along with many temples it is also a very religious place and has its own importance. It also has small and varied market which offers lots of exotic goods for purchase.
Pashupatinath:
Pashupatinath is the largest and holiest Hindu Shrine, which lies on the banks of Bagmati River. It is also recognized by the UNESCO World Heritage Site. Aryaghat in Pashupatinath is the biggest Hindu Shrine in Nepal and the best place to see the Hindu Cremation process. Pashupatinath also offers a no. of sites where you can experience the best mix of cultural, historical and natural beauty.
Boudhanath:
Boudhanath hold the largest dome shaped Stupa in Asia where the sacred Buddhist prayer “Om Mani Padme hum” soothes the environment. It is amongst one of the largest photography destinations in Kathmandu.
Swayambhunath:
The journey to Swayambhunath is a spiritual one in itself. The temple is situated at a hilltop with 365 stairs to reach the top. With monkeys all around, this place has earned its name also as the Monkey Temple. With a blend of Hindu worshippers and Buddhist monks, this place is makes the perfect place for photography, especially during the morning and evening time.
Pharping:
Pharping is situated at the border of Kathmandu District which consists of 6 VCDs namely Sheshnarayan, Chalnakhel, Setidevi, Dakshinkali, Talku Dundechaur and Chhaimale. With a population of approximately 40000 it is home to a mix demography which includes Newar, Brahmin, Chettri, Tamang, Magar, rai, Gurung. Various religious temples like Goddess Dakshinkali, Bajrayogini, and numerous Monasteries etc are established here.
Sanga:
Sanga is situated in the border of Bhaktapur and karvepalanchowk district in Nepal. It is famous for a shoring 144 feet high statue of Lord Shiva, which is estimated to be the world’s tallest Shiva statue.
