Although, most of the tourism products are safe, tourism sector in general is highly affected. However, the miraculous unity amongest all sector of the country and strong international solidarity/ cooperation seen in the miserable moment are the inspiring factors to overcome the effects of the Disaster. Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation said over 80% tourist destinations in the country are safe even after the disaster and this message should be scattered globally. Out of 35 major trekking routes here, the quake inflicted damages on only few routes. Tourist destinations in some 11 districts suffered earthquake damages. The highways and subways connecting major cities and towns in Nepal have not suffered any damages so moving around and traveling around Nepal would not be any problem...
