Upper Dolpo Trek

Besides being adventurous, Upper Dolpo Trek is equally challenging trek as the trail has not been much travelled by the trekkers. The major highlight of the Upper Dolpo Trek is the beautiful Shey Phoksundo Lake, which is the deepest lake in Nepal. Besides the lake, trekkers will also come across several rare wildlife, snowy mountain peaks and plenty of Buddhist monasteries along the way. Upper Dolpo Trek starts from Kathmandu once we take a flight to Nepalgunj and then to Jhupal the next morning. The best time for trekto the Dolpo region is in summer and spring season. The trail becomes increasingly difficult in winter because
of heavy snowfall.
