Island Peak Climbing
Island Peak Climbing Island Peak which is also known as Imja Tse is situated on the pinnacle of the glacier known as Chukung, connecting Ama Dablam and Lhotse Mountains. It is the most hunted trekking spot due to its tough geographical structure. The Island Peak is located in the heart of Khumbu region which is recognized as a moderate Climbing peak of Everest area. Island Peak was the name given to the mountain in 1951 by Eric Shipton’s who thought it to be reminiscent of an island in a sea of ice. It provides an outstanding chance to ascend the Himalayan summit as well as thrilling hike towards Everest Base Camp plus Kala Patthar. The most difficult part is considered as a mixed rock, ice wall that lies in the slope slides which leads next to the thin summit edge.
